2D Filter Systems LLC, known as “2D”, was established on the growing awareness of plastic particles in consumer products. Scientific research has shown that particulates sized 5mm to 1nm are inadvertently ingested from single-use bottled waters. 2D assumes, within reason, that most plastic containers also distribute these pollutants. The environmental impacts of these materials are well established, yet the impact of microplastics in our bodies has largely gone unaddressed. This yields a demand in the market for plastic particle filtration. 2D was incepted on this basis.
